Earth Day takes place on 22 April every year to increase awareness and garner support for environmental issues. Sustainable and ethical resourcing of food is a claim that many restaurants make about the ingredients they procure but there are some that stand out, according to the Observer Food Monthly Awards which has a category for the Best Ethical Restaurants in the UK.
