James and Thom Elliot (aka the Pizza Pilgrims) are on a roll. It all started with a ‘pilgrimage’ through Italy which led to their wildly successful pizza van. Then came the book deal, the TV show and now, at last, a proper, permanent, grown up restaurant.
The Pizza Pilgrims pizzeria opened on 1 August on 11-12 Dean Street in Soho.
At the heart of their menu is the classic Neapolitan margherita. Other street van pizzas have made it to the Soho pizzeria as well, such as the Portobello mushroom and smoked garlic oil, and the spicy Nduja sausage.
