Berners Tavern by Jason Atherton at Edition Hotel

Since 12 September, Jason Atherton’s much anticipated fourth London restaurant (after the three ‘Socials’ – Pollen Street, Little and Eating House) has opened its doors. It’s located in Ian Schrager’s equally new Edition Hotel in Fitzrovia. And as you’d expect the dining room is quite a stunner.
The menu is contemporary British and includes dishes such as Orkney scallop carpaccio with avocado, radish, jalapeño and lime or char-grilled quail served with smoked tomato jam, shallots and parsley. “Fish Fridays” and Sunday roasts add variety to the menu.
The kitchen is headed up by Atherton’s long term colleague Phil Carmichael.
